Bluebell Studios is situated around 45 minutes outside of London, with nearest train station being Stansted Airport. As we know the journey may be long for some visitors, we have the option to stay overnight, with all meals, drinks, snacks included. Feel free to discuss your dietary requirements in advance and we’ll have everything ready for you! You can either stay in our single room, or in our double room on special request.

Ed Gill
Remote Violin
Ed is violinist & producer with a classical and folk background from the North East. With studio credits ranging from Gary Barlow to the BBC, to live projects with Jonny Simon, Marcus McCoan & Hayley McKay. He can record both acoustic with a variety of microphones and electric violin through a range of pedals. He provides both individual stems or a recorded project.

Georgina is an exceptional session musician, with rich studio experience as well as her own remote-setup. Recent sessions include:

have been playing the violin since I was 7 y/o, went through 8 years of violin school, then continued for another 4 years at a High School Conservatory, and in summer 2025 I had finished my Bachelor in Performance Art, majoring in classical violin and with a minor in composing. During my studies at the University I have dabbled more into improvisational music through jazz and contemporary music courses, ensembles and orchestra, occasional sessions and small student projects.

Remote Violin and Viola
Heather is based in North London and has been playing strings since she was 6 years old. She is classically trained with recording experience, playing folk, rock and pop styles in the studio and live, with artists including An Early Haunting and Jethro Coups Music. Her primary instrument is the violin, but she can also provide viola and can record from home with a turnaround of 2-3 days.
Rates start from £30 p/h.

Bluebell Studios is now proud to offer Shadeh Rose’s brand new course ‘Ready Ready Voice’: A vocal course for songwriters who want to sound like themselves. confidently, creatively, and consistently.
Over 12 tailored 1:1 sessions, we’ll cover the essential toolkit of a recording-ready vocalist. You’ll receive weekly hour-long lessons (each recorded for you to keep), with personalised exercises to work on between sessions. The structure is clear and goal-oriented, without endless open-ended lessons, yet flexible enough to meet your individual needs.
